A Revolutionary Book By A Russian Revolutionist

Vladimir Ilyitch Lenin was the pioneer of Great October Russian revolution that started towards the end of nineteenth century which successfully concluded in 1917. The revolution was to uproot the Russian Tsarists and establish a socialist nation that afterwards became known as Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR). In course of the revolution, a great challenge for Lenin was to combine the labor class against the Russian Tsarists.

For this purpose, he wrote the book’What is to be done’ during 1901-1902. In this book, he called the labor class not just to fight against the employers for a better economic plot and hike in wages, rather to form a political party to continue the fight. In order for this he tried to convert the labor class to Marxists and that succeeded fruitfully. This book holds answers to all revolutionary questions that combined the entire labor class and the Great October Revolution succeeded in 1917 and USSR was established which got disintegrated in 1991. This book is sill considered to be an iconic one in Russian society and the socialist block as a whole.
