This time I held my hands very early on Ashutosh Gowariker’s latest movie song album Whats your Raashee? only because this time Ashutosh selected new music composer Sohail Sen instead of AR Rahman for his romantic comedy.
I must make a mention that I haven’t heard such a bombastic and beautiful songs off late. All the songs in this album are simply marvelous and I really appreciate very well the effort put in by Sohail Sen. He has beautifully brought all of the songs together with a range and mixture of distinctive sounds.
I strongly recommend this and I am sure that after hearing this album you will be finding it impossible to choose a favorite track because every track you hear becomes an instant favorite. I understand that there are 12 different characters who belong to different backgrounds and different zodiac signs and the music director nicely put together all the characters with a range and mixture of distinctive sounds.
Looks like that each song depicts the story of a single character which is extremely unique and that’s why maybe every song is unique and amazing. It can also be said that every person will have at least 1 fav song in this album that is closely connected to his Raashee. Well, coming to my Raashee, I am a scorpion and too have 1 song as my fav....and that is...Jao Na.........No.No wait!..its actually...Aaja Lehraate or may be Bikhri Bikhri...oops! I am confused not only with my Fav song, but also with my own Raashee!...I luv all the songs, maybe I have the traits of all Raashees!. Take my word. They are all good...Go 4 it!
