Today, I am going to share my experience, opinions and views on whatsapp.
I am using whatsapp since 2011 and I am very shocked when I came to know that whatsapp has all my my information: private information, publicly information, location . It has access to all my phone calls, my location, my messages, my google search, my chats, my apps access and many more. It use my this information to show me ads in which I am interested because some days ago I told my friend that I am purchasing a new cycle and from that day fb, google, amazon, are showing me ads of bicycle. Now I am very much afraid of it and in fear that since it has been purchased by facebook, it can sell our private, public and all the information like that the facebook did some days before.
It is based on the concept of communication. It is an instant communication app. When we open the app, there are four options. First option is of camera from where we can capture pics and share them. Second option is of chats from where we can chat with anyone or a group chat. Third option is of status where it shows other persons status and our status. Last option is of calls where it shows history of voice and video calls. I do not like the layout and design of its new version. Its features are: chat with an individual, group chat, voice call, video call, sharing photos, videos, gifs and pdf files, voice messages and few more but these features along with many more good features are available in other free apps also. It is not very useful. Today’s youth get involved only in these apps and do not concentrate in their work, children do not study, people use mobile a lot getting involved in it due to which their eyesight become weak and many other serious disease. It should be age restricted i.e people below 35 years can not use it and it should also be time restricted i.e people can not use it more than 1 hour.
I do not recommend people to use it.
