Whatsapp is a good app . Several people , worldwide, use this app. For indian culture mainly it is of great importance. The families that do not like their daughters to come unveiled on facebook, find it comfortable to allow them on whatsapp . Because this app is only confined to the people whose contact numbers are present in the phone diary. According to it majority of the phone contacts remain of school or academic freinds and relatives.so the parents of middle class find it safe for their daughters to chat on whatsapp. With all these the new feature of whatsapp, status showing small videos and pictures and writtens , enhances the essence of social networking on this app. The best part of this new feature , that I liked , is that you can restrict it’s visibility to the people that you like. Even if a person’s contact number is in your phone book, he or she cannot see your status unless untill you want them to see. One thing that I didn’t like about this app is that it never makes your DP private. Anyone in your contact can save your DP. Not only that everyone in your contact can see your DP, even if you don’t want them to see. Leaving the above mentioned dissatisfaction with whatsapp, I don’t have any other complaint . IT’S A GREAT APP. THUMBS UP FOR IT.
