Don’t know what the style really was in 1989. But if you are looking for entertainment, the indian version humtum is much better. I felt that the characters has not reached the depth of relationship & this movie is basically a hype rather than a showpiece.
How can in a romantic movie people make love before they aren’t sure they love each other! & the ending, it’s predictable. But I never felt it’ll be so early
