I am happy to share my pleasant experience regarding the quality of customer service from Whirlpool. Recently I bought a Magicook 20C microwave oven through an online portal, as I was greatly satisfied with their products I already own, including a fridge. On opening, I noticed that it was heavily dented and the damage was not due to transit (the packing was fine, externally). The unit gave a burning smell and the power supply was cut off. On a call, the local authorised service agency came immediately but I was told they would repair it and not replace it.
After my efforts failed to get replacement, after a week, I sent a mail to ravi_kumar_sabharwal@whirlpool.com. During the time, the machine continue to be with the authorised service agency.Then came the most pleasant surprise of my life. Immediately within an hour, I got a call from the local office of Whirlpool saying that I would get replacement within two days and they have already placed their order to their head office. This was the greatest surprise of my life.
I could not believe that I am living in India.
