I purchased a whirlpool window air-conditioner based on a dealer’s recommendation.
While it worked it was OK, but once it started giving problem Whirlpool service center started their money making business.
The worst part was when they repaired the PCB and charged me Rs 2500+425=2925 for repairing this PCB which otherwise should have cost less than Rs 1000. I had a similar experience with Whirlpool Oven, Grill and Cooktop which remained non functional even after spending Rs8500 on Service. I have now decided never to buy Whirlpool products.
