Even though I got a wonderful machine from Whirlpool, I am sad because their service is very poor.
My warranty for compressor got over before 1 month. I called the service engineer, he came and verified the outdoor unit and concluded as compressor failure. He told me to change the compressor, and it costs almost half of the machine. Since the warranty got over, I need to pay to make it work fine. I told them to wait for 1 more week. In the mean time there was another problem in my house, my house motor was not working. My house owner called an electrician and verified the power wiring.
There was a problem in the board and he replaced the wiring. After he replaced the wiring, he asked to switch on all the power consuming things in the house. My wife switched on the air conditioner, for her surprise it has started working. We thought of the Whirlpool service engineer comments to change the compressor. We are happy and we saved some money.
But my feedback here is Whirlpool service engineer lacks problem diagnose knowledge. Hope they will improve in the future.
