We purchased this oven around three years back at an exhibition (we booked it there) The oven was delivered three days later and the box (packing) was completely torn/ dirty giving an impression that the unit was old. However, the unit itself was brand new and unused, so we accepted it.
However the promised free gifts were not delivered with the oven. This resulted in a 6 month exchange of emails, letters, phones and whatnot between the dealer, local Whirlpool office and the Whirlpool headoffice. For almost 6 months, the blame was exchanged between the three but still the promised free gifts were not delivered. I then quit in disgust.
Regarding the oven itself, it is all one could expect of a microwave, but the instruction manual is very badly written and Whirlpools use of proprietary terminology (crispy plate, hot air(!) etc..) for cooking terms is confusing.
Given its 1000W output, its an electricity guzzler!
