Don't Go for Whirlpool products

I had a Whirlpool washing machine which worked for some years without any problem. But once they removed the product from market, there were no spares for the specific model. Knob of my washing machine broke, I could not get a replacement for the same after many many calls to the Customer care center.


Even though Whirlpool had feedback system(SMS PIN) for closing the call, they did not follow it here. I used to log the complain, and later come to know that they closed it without informing me or fixing the issue. I did this many times, and later complained to the Whirlpool itself.


They also gave wrong promise and kept me waiting. Later I fixed the problem by changing the Washing machine to Bosch. For a 200/- fix I had to spend 30K. I did not get a good exchange price since knob is missing. Now I am going to buy a new Refrigerator, not from whirlpool for sure. Because once product is obsolete, I will never get a spare.


Please check my communication to the customer care below. Till now I did not get any call or they did not respond to my call. I hope this will help someone to choose the brand wisely.

I have a Whirlpool washing machine(details are given below). Its knob is broken, an I have complainted 3 times. Till now it is not rectified. All my complaints are closed without asking customer. If this is the system you have, how can I buy a Whirlpool product believing the after sale service.


For a plastic knob I am waiting for 3 months, I am not able to use my washing machine for last 3 months. Could you please help me to fix this issue. Please find the model details and complaint details below.
