Whirlpool: Worst ever service company

We bought this washing machine 4 years ago.


Our experience with whirlpool service since last month is pathetic. This is since when our washing machine started giving problems.


We registered first complaint on 6th Oct 2010. Technician came the other day and said that he did not have parts to fix the problem.


Then after that he kept telling us that part is yet to come for next 6 days, that too whenever we called him.


This complaint was assigned to Shree Enterprises Pune.


After that I managed to get number of Rajesh Varma, head of service from Shree enterprises. He was horribly rude and arrogant with me during all the calls.


He was not slightly apologetic for the pain they have caused us.


After that same person came to fix the problem. But he left before we could test whether it is fixed. We DID NOT give him any sign or any completion code. However complaint was closed during that night itself before actual problem was fixed.


One more pathetic thing about Whirlpool is that EVEN IF customtakeoutER IS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE CLOSED COMPLAINT CANNOT BE REOPENED. So we opened new complaint. Some other person came to fix that and problem was fixed partially.


Meanwhile, the first person broke water pipe and few buttons with his careless handling. And his response to that was "Plastic part ahet madam, tevde hotech(These are plastic parts. These things happen)"


As expected Whirlpool did not bother to pay for our damage and we had to pay for the pipe. Button is still broken.


Again the complaint was closed even if we did not give any satisfaction code.


Today when we tried Delay Wash after first time since the problem was so called fixed, the machine stopped working again.


I do not know if anyone at higher level is interested in understanding what customtakeouter feels about the service. I have written 2 mails to helpdeskindia@whirlpool.com but nobody responded.


When it was time to renew service contract Whirlpool people came immediately to take the money. But when it comes to giving quality service to the customtakeouters, it seems they are still sleeping.


I SURELY ADVISE PEOPLE FOR NOT BUYING ANY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS because of its  pathetic customtakeouter service.
