I planned a trip to Goa in December 2010 and while searching on the internet I came across ’whispering palms’ resort. By looking at the pics, I was quite impressed.
So I finally made the bookings by online transfer and landed at Goa. They had their vehicle waiting for us at the airport. However when we reached the place, it was very different than what we had perceived it to be. Like they say looks can be deceiving!
The rooms are large but in need of renovation. The food is good and they have a theme pool side Karaoke/ live band etc. every night which we enjoyed. On the positive side, Ms. Maya was very helpful and polite while making all the bookings and we were also upgraded to superior rooms on arrival.
The beach is close by which has some great shacks. Try ’Sudhas shack’. She is very friendly, provides free sunbed and food is ok too.
Coming back to Whispering palms, I feel they should reduce their rates to make it value for money. We could have even....
