This cheese is simply great!

Feeling frustrated? Unappreciated? Angry?

“This is not fair” ; “Why me????” - Do these questions often torture your mind ?

Is this how you feel most of the time. Needless to say you are stressed out.

If you will sit down for a moment and tap your brains for the possible answer , you will realise that the six letter word CHANGE is a treasure house of mystery.

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. “ But how many of us have learnt to cope with change and how many of us have strode through the path gracefully . Not many I guess….

Fear of change is something that instills itself in us.

It did, in me and miraculously I found a remedy or lets say a means to a remedy…

There was this book, so small, so neat yet so attractive with a nice little title that screamed WHO MOVED MY CHEESE? not to mention the big chunk of delicious looking cheese on the cover page.

“Who moved my cheese ?” by Dr. Spencer Johnson, the co author of “ The one minute manager” is a book written for all ages. The book has an enlightening story of four characters who live in a maze and look for the cheese that make them happy.

The style is most interesting with the author almost narrating the story in a manner in which a storyteller would narrate to a kid. Quite amusing to read about two mice and two little people with characteristic names (Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw) who go in search of their kind of cheese in a maze.

Cheese

Each of us have an idea of what our cheese is and sometimes it pains to let of the old cheese for a new one; almost in tune with the proverb ”A known devil is better than an unknown angel”

Maze

The maze represents the place where you spend time looking for cheese. It could be the organization you work in, the community you live in, or the relationships you have in your life.

Here’s how this cheeze…er… book, can move you to being fearless of an impending change.

It shows you how to

 Anticipate change

 Adapt to change quickly

 Enjoy change

 Be ready to change quickly, again and again

For your own reading pleasure let me not let the cat out of the bag by delving deep into how the characters strive hard to find their cheese. Instead let me incite your curiosity by telling you that this is one great book that every individual can, will and must relate to.

The author has done a great job in letting us find out for ourselves how to deal with change, and live a stress free life !

Speaking of the author, its only fair that we give him an introduction for the great service that he has done to human kind
