I have been using Windows 10 for one month now.I have used and am also using Windows 7 and Windows 8 on other machines.After XP, all versions of Windows are bad.To begin with they have provided a start button which was absent in Windows 8.But after using it for 5-6 times the start button is not working.Like Windows 8, the desktop has separate icons for current user("Your Name"), This Computer(previously called "My Computer") and Control Panel.In XP, all these functionalities were combined under a single icon.It seemed more neat that way.Then, on starting the machine, if you have an internet connection, you are automatically lead to the last open page.Well, if you were watching porn and your mom boots the machine you know what see will see.The OS looks grand.I don’t have Google Chrome.I have something called Chromium.I don’t know how that’s different.There are some advanced features which are convenient.I did not have to do anything to start browsing the internet.The OS recognised the modem and did the needful.I have a HP Laser Printer connected to the machine.I am able to use the printer without the driver CD.The OS takes care of that.You see Microsoft probably meant well.But you cannot improve stuff beyond a certain point.There is a icon on the desktop called network which takes care of connectivity.I guess that’s new.All in all, my message don’t make any new versions of Windows.Let Windows 10 be the last.
