Wings radio is a horrible service in Pune. I booked a taxi for 1PM to drop me to railway station. I received sms that taxi will report at 12:45 hrs. It reported at 1:05PM. Immediately it started it’s meter charging me delay charges.
It has not reported in first place at the scheduled reporting time and immediately after reaching it started charging me for the delay. It took me to load my luggage from 1:05PM to 1:15PM i.e. 10 min against 15 min of available time but I had to pay for the 10 min as delay charges. When contacted their helpdesk, they put me for inifinite hold and did not come back - horrible customer service. Over and above this they start with charge of Rs50.00 for which they do not provide any KM of travel.
After block charge of Rs 50.00 they start at the rate per km charges. All these resulted in paying Rs200 (Ref No 247967, dated 30/4/2011, driver : Deepak)) for a distance of around 8KM. Meru is far better service at Mumbai. Hope Meru services will come soon to Pune, else if this is the only option people in Pune will have horrible experience of radio cabs.
