Discovery is a channel worth watching. It never hurts me to pay Rs. 5/- to the cable operator every month for this channel.
Its amazing to get acquainted with the names of specific planes, how and when they created, what was the need, their use and payload capacity, what and where those planes are today and what not.
The best part is their inside story. Who got the idea, who implemented it, who gave it a shape, who added to the creation, how does it look like today, whether it is in use today, where can it be found and more are the questions that arise in our mind while watching such show. All these questions are very well answered by this show.
Planes are an intact part of a nation’s security. How they play an important role and what are tieir capabilities and drawbacks are very vital topics. These are very well judged by this show.
I would like to mark this show as a Tribute to the efforts of those remarkeable men who added to the creation, functioning and development of these great machines.
