I worked in wipro for 4 months, and following my irritation and frustration with the company, left and found another job with 80% hike. Being a service based company, you have less than 1% chances of getting a development project. All the projects are support project, where you’ll copy pasting stuff, or solving some bloody ticket. No recognition to talent, you’re just among a bunch of idiots who are all treated equally. Onsite opportunities are for 2+ years ppl, even if you develop another Google there.
Employees are treated like labours. If you are transferred to a completely new location, you wont be given any accommodation (if you are not 2+ years exp), not even for a day. Shame on you, even a company having 300 emp, provides accommodation. Wipro has such a bad work culture, pure desi company, F**Kers even mix 60% water with the milk, they use in coffee machine. If you dont have work to do, you will probably kill yourself. Only 3 TT Tables for 30k employees in Bangalore office, which are closed in working hours. Who the hell will stay in the village, after 6pm.
So think 1000 times before entering into this shitty firm. My emp id was 180000(range), when company has 90k emp. This clearly proves the frustration of emp. more than 50% attrition rate.
