I much prefer liquid detergents to powders as I feel they clean much better. I use two different kinds Era and Wisk.
Wisk was the very first liquid I used that really works. It has never failed to get out any stains, even blood. That can be one of the hardest stains to get out. When I seen how it worked on this (you rub a small amount right into the stain and throw in the machine) I dug out a piece of clothing that had blood stains set in for a long time and I had tried washing that item with all kinds of products and could never get it out so figured I would try it.
It took even the very old det in stain out and there was no trace left at all of the stain. Most stains are protein based and Wisk is formulated to take out those stains.
Price wise I find it comparable to any other name brand and even if it were a bit more it would be worth the extra money.
I am another one that has to be careful to allergic reactions to cleaners and this does not cause one.
It also leaves a nice fresh scent to your clothing. So if you have tough laundry problems or even just normal washings I would recommend this product. Just remember when treating stains to put a dab of the liquid right on the stain, rub it in and toss it in to wash. There is no need to pre-soak with this.
