I joined WNS global services in July 2019 as a Spanish translator. During the interview they told me that work would be only writing emails and attending client calls in Spanish and when required translating documents. My title was senior associate ops and that’s when I should have know that there’s not going to be any translation work. As soon as I joined my reporting manager started telling me to learn the process and for information purpose only and I started the training and slowly he kept pushing me to do processing and billing. That wasn’t the work I was hired for and had absolute no background of travel operations. Irrespective of telling my reporting manager that I wasn’t comfortable doing processing he started calling me useless and doesn’t do anything. He started giving me jobs like updating schedules which was not remotely related to my area of expertise. This kept happening over and over again me being called useless . I kept asking when the Spanish work was going to come in and he kept telling me next month. That next month never came. And in between these 3 months I worked there he used cheap and sexually abusive language with me thinking I was available. His cheap mentality forced me to leave the office. Although I lodged a complaint with the HR and she told me a proper investigation would be held against him but they proved him innocent internally as he was bringing clients and he was important. Investigation was imporper and a woman’s word was disregarded. This manager’s name was Mohammed akram khan from travel ops. Please beware girls. My complaint was not the first against him. Stay away from this pervert as possible
