Wonderful experience in Wonderla. That’s what I had last Saturday. I had been planning to visit this amusement park from past few months. At last made a last moment plan and we(me & two of my friends) headed to Wonderla, around 30kms from Bangalore city. Before visiting we had some rough idea about this park. It opens by 11am and closes around 7pm, takes complete day to enjoy the whole place etc.
It took 30mins for us to reach there; we were there by 12 noon. Plenty of parking spaces are available, most of the vehicles I could see were tourist buses. Entry fee was 520rs, it’s less on weekdays. Once the entrance fee is paid, you don’t have to pay for anything else other than food and locker. The setup as a whole looks moreover similar to Veega land, Kochi(under same administration).
The locker rooms and toilets, it’s very well maintained. Locker facility provided is decent with two sizes to choose from. Small room sized lockers are also available for school/college people.
Lots of dry and wet rides, if you are a good enthusiast of amusement park then you will love this place. Land rides are spine-tingling, plenty to go for. To be frank, I missed out few dry rides coz I want daring enough, but I won’t let pass next time. Most of them rotates you and shake you around in all possible way.
Water rides, my favorite, didn’t miss any one. The whole place is very well maintained, you can make that out where ever u go about. Most of the buildings have solar water heater on roof, keeping the water warm in al rides.
Food, snacks and cool drinks, you will find in most of the places that too in satisfactory price. We had lunch, snacks and dinner in Wonderla.
Other must watches are Rain dance, Giant wheel, Musical fountain & laser show, Crazy cars etc. Rain dance is their new attraction; you have got vast space 4 dancing with artificial rain al over de place and laser effects too. Giant wheel is meant for sight seeing, it’s sited on top of a tower which is nearly 50mts high. You get a chance catch a glimpse of the places around Bidadi. Musical fountain and laser show is a must watch, keeps oneself engaged for about 20mins.
In my view it’s a fantastic place to spend a day out.
