I have just watched this movie and trust me it’s exceptional. it’s so good that I couldn’t resist myself writing a review for it. her secret weapon is not the bullet-repelling jewellery, not even her swordplay. it’s her capacity to understand what another person is experiencing from their frame of reference.
plot - in the present-day she receives a letter from’bruce wayne’ which recalls her past. she’diana’ used to live on an island, home to the amazons, created by’zeus’ to protect mankind. her mother shares the history of amazon with’diana’, how’ares’ become zealous of mankind and tried to destroy it but his father’zeus’ raided on’ares’.’ares’ becomes weak, ’zeus’ left amazons a weapon to kill’ares’ if he comes back.’diana’ rescues a pilot, it crashes on their island.’antiope’ sacrifices herself to save her sister’s daughter’diana’. later they found out that the pilot is an american spy, spying on germans.’diana’ goes with the spy to find and kill’ares’ in the real world, war is going on between americans and germans. general of germans was trying to make a gas bomb to attack americans. later’diana’ thought general as’ares’ so she killed her but in actual’morgan’ is the real’ares’. revealing himself he faces off’diana’. he tells her that she ain’t just a normal person, she’s the daughter of’zeus’ and her sister. spy died saving the bomb to explode on america, ’daina’ unleashes her real power and kills’ares’.
performance -’gal gadot’ she truly gave her 100% and did justice to the role. her acting skills were on point and she looked really beautiful in the entire movie of course.
music - the sound and effects were really awesome, truly a team work. american musician’sia’ sung a song’to be human’ and it’s so good to hear her soulful voice.
cinematography - matthew jensen is the cinematographer of this movie. you might remember him from the tv series’ game of thrones’, worked there as a director of photographic department.
