Purchased a extendable dining stable set for Rs.38, 000/- on Oct 21 got the delivery on Nov 10.The wait period of 7 weeks that the company mandates to complete and deliver the product is just impossible to understand. But ultimately the product delivered was good so I won’t speak much about the anguish I faced while dealing with the company representatives just trying to figure out the status of my purchase.The delivery boys called a day before saying they would come in by 9.00am to assemble the product which was fine by us since we start our days early.The product was assembled very methodically and looked good in our living room so we were happy.But I would like to point out here that the delivery boys left behind a stream of thermocol packing all over our staircase.Things don’t end here, the driver of the delivery van rammed into our neighbour’s car and severely dented his bumper and number plate.Our neighbour came yelling at our doorstep so we called the representative of woodenstreet to get an explanation.We were told that they hire external delivery agents and hence had no control over their actions.We had to pay through our pockets to get our neighbour’s car bumper and name plate fixed.All this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and going forward I will stick to Urban Ladder, a tried and tested company I can trust to deliver in a decent and timely manner.(Order ID- 12721)
