I had always admired Woodland shoes and recently decided to buy one. I have been more than satisfied. They are comfortable, and very good to look at. We had brought up to admire Bata but now I found them much too hard at the bottom. Even the top leather is a bit too hard and hence not that comfortable for day long wearing. Woodlands on the other is easily wearable for the entire day, something that I want. Now I understand why so little people in India wore shoes and preferred sandals. On top of that, they are not too expensive. But I don’t like the fact they can’t be polished and that maintenance of suede leather is not that straight forward. That is the biggest downside of these shoes but then they can easily take the occasional shower.
