Hope you would read this article as your customer forum on twitter is very limited in 140 words and You donot use facebook as a platform for customer complaints. When a customer looks up to a brand he expects Quality and Value for Money and time.Im really surprised with the quality of Woodland products we are getting in India and it seems they are made with some licence permission somewhere in India without maintaining the quality standards.There are hundreds of complaints registerd online for woodland products just Google the same and you will come to know.


Recently I Have purchase GC 0567108 Khaki 41 footwear on 10-Jan-2012 (Invoice No 9671) from your frachisee M/s First May Ent. XXXXA, Ground Floor, DLF XXX XXX Mall Gurgaon City, State Haryana India.


Just after 2 days of use a metal eye(I-LET) placed to hold shoe laces broken off. I have returned to the shop and discuss the matter witht the staff over there.They humbly accept the shoes and asked me to collect after 10 days and wait for their phone for the confirmation.But I haven’t received any calls from their end so I called them up twice and they told me that shoes have gone to factory for repair and will take more time.


Yesterday(31 Jan 2012) I received the shoes but something happened soon after which surprised and shocked everyone there. Soon after receiving the shoes I wore the shoes and the very moment the same metal eye broken off again within five minutes of delivery which was got repaired by so called factory.


I have visited the store again and they told me to again submit the shoes for repair as they need to send them again to factory and told me take delivery after 15 days again.


Is this Woodland Brand Value, Quality and services? Not appreciated at all. A world Class renowed brand is so weak of customer services and strangely the product quality doesnot meet upto the expected standard quality of Woodland.


The shoes which I have purchased hardly remained with me for 2-3 days and rest of the period it lies with woodland store only. Did I book a recurring or fixed deposit with woodland where I would pay for shoes for not using them and still pay for several calls, fuel n parking and most importantly Time? Just to increase fooprints and making money big brands started compromsing on services and quality. I wish woodland proves me wrong and give me some customer delight


I would suggest Woodland to google the kind of complaints consumers are putting on Web and they may exposed to many loopholes in their distribution channel and franchises.
