Well!!! this is the experience of thousands of people who travel in the first class compartments in local trains in Bombay, that compartment adjacent to the ladies first class compartment popularly known as the ’’Video coach’’ in local lingo.. Some interesting things are worth noticing.. I travel regularly by the train as 100s of u might. More than the fairer sex on the other side of the window, it is interesting to note the gestures of the people. I used a few of these to notice the (rather I should say ’’interesting histrionics’’) 1) Turn ur attention to a guy who has been ogling on the other side. His immediate reaction: Either a nonchalant shrugging of the shoulders or rotation exrcise of the neck with a nasty look on his face indicating ’’Shit!!! Why is this guy spoiling my happiness?’’ 2) Guys reading newspapers can provide good entertainment. Look at him protrude his eyes from the top corner of his newspaper on to the other side. If any person on the other side responds to his attention, then the immediate reacttion is ’’Withdrawal of his eyeballs and resumption of normal position’’. This cycle continues.... 3)watch the embarrasment on the face of the girl on the other side. I would describe it as the ’’Urge to respond but the embarrasment to initiate. ’’ 4) Then the fourth type. People who even after travelling standing for an hour or more would refuse the offer to beseat themselves by a co-passenger. Then there are the others who deliberately offer their seats within the first 15 minutes of travel to display chivalry and empathy for copassengers’’. The reason amy be quite different.. Junta!!! Would like to have similar gestures and behaviour of people who travel by this so called video coach.. Girls especially please respond..since I havent had the oppurtunity to be on the other side ( for obvious reasons) and study their emotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
