This is what xbhp should be renamed. TimePass.com or BajajPulsar.com ( makes more sense cas they are pulsar fanatics and wont accept that there is anything better and faster than the pulsar). There is zero to negligible technical information on this site. It is filled with total nonsense. If you love your bike and looking for more information about your bike/ other bikes and hoping to meet like minded people this is NOT the place to go.
Everything posted on this site is posted by people with little or zero technical knowledge and once you learn things the wrong way it is very difficult to unlearn that and it needs alot of effort. Trust me I found out the hard way. Most of the guys on this site are youngsters who have just got a bike, are riding their first bike ( most probably a pulsar or a karizma ) which daddy bought them...
All they are interested in discussing which is faster :pulsar 180 or karizma, which is a never ending battle on this site or what kind of stunts you can do ( I’ve seen some bad bad accidents at their meets) these guy aren’t interested in improving riding and control skills but they want to stunt and break their bikes so that they can look cool and call themselves Xmen )...go figure .. daddy’s money afterall ( btw some Xmen recents got lathi charged in Delhi and one Xman also got bashed up by Bouncers at the Mtv Roadies Audition in Delhi while 50 other Xmen looked on..so much for the powers of the Xmen at their meets.).
They also like discussing modifications. many of you must have seen these pulsar’s, CBZ and karizma’s with huge tyres, huge ugly and loud exhaust cans ( most of the time you will also see a non functioning can as well ), clip on handles, innumerable headlights, huge ugly fairing and zatang paint jobs with 1000cc kawasaki or 1300 cc suzuki or a 1000cc honda stickered over it...oh did I forget the heavy mag wheels??
Yea all this is very much appreciated on xbhp. Meaning that this is a site of posers cas as most knowledgable bike enthusiats know additional weight reduces speed and milage, fat ugly tyres reduces milage and speed, in other words the bike looks like a cheap fake superbike and performs like a splendor, or god forbid even worst!
Yes they do have some guys who indulge in long rides into the himalayas and some guys who also modify their bikes to actually improve performance but they are few and far apart, most of them have left the site, the kids have taken over now. But I do appricate these efforts. Moderator and the people who run this site are immature to the core and once they start making posts that shows the whole world what fools they are, to save their a$$ they just delete the whole post to destroy all evidence of their foolishness. Women have more courage......
Discussions on the forum go out of control very fast...its like a fish market...there is no one who one can look up to or expect to contribute some good technical information on indian bikes. The site is run by a guy called sunny who doesn’t post anything related to the technical side of biking. his prime interests and objective is to get as many people as possible to sign up at xbhp so that they can turn up at meets to pay regstration fees ( for meets that dont happen at times )and also to get as much as media coverage and sponsorship for xbhp.
If you are looking for lots of information on superbikes then there is some info here altough if your a superbike owner it will not be of any use to you because there aren’t alot of useful discussions about superbikes ( just dreamy discussions), the guys there post links which they found on google so that others can dream about superbikes.
This is a site where movies like Dhoom are worshipped. If you think dhoom is a joke, xbhp is not the place for you.
Bascially its a bunch of youngsters who are wannabe bikers and who haven’t found what they are looking for as yet. Hope they find it soon. If you know your stuff about bikes its a fun site to be on so you can read all the rubbish and warped
impressions that they have about performance and bikes in general.
Advise on xbhp is to be taken at your own risk. And people who know their stuff about bikes arnt appriciated on the site. But xbhp isnt the be all and the end all of the indian online biking scene, there are much better online indian biking forums. So search on and you shall find it. Happy searching and riding.
