The main idea of Xender is to share files.
And it is widely used by many peoples of all class and ages.
I am using this application since I bought my Android Phone. It is the best application for sharing in Android OS.
Its design is so sweet and simple that anyone can use it.
I found Xender highly useful in my college time when it comes to take some of the notes, ppts, pdfs, assignment and what not and yes the best part MOVIES.!
It gives such a nice sharing speed, sometimes crossing over 20 Mbps.
But the main negative point I came across was connection. Sometimes it takes a lot of time to create or join the group and it makes me so frustrated and also it hangs my mobile phone.
