I bought this phone in July last year and it has been complete 1 year now using this one. After one year too feels like I bought it yesterday. The built quality is good. The compact size of the phone was the most appealing thing along with other good features like full HD screen, 13 mp Sony rear camera, good tactile buttons, back-lit capacitive keys etc. All this for a budget pricing. Certainly Xiaomi won the hearts of most Indians with the way there devices are featured priced. They price their devices so well that there is no competition in the market. Chinese manufacturers are generally of low quality and cheap. Xiaomi turned the tables with devices like mi4i with putting great features with great pricing. The icing on the cake is the OS. MIUI is one of the most user friendly and customizable UI in the market. With frequent updates it has really captured more eyes than ever. Mi4i being light weight compact makes a good daily usage smartphone. There were rumors of heating issues but it has subsided with the software updates. The camera quality is decent to good as the only downer is the photos taken in the night. The sound quality is also decent with the earpiece speaker being loud and clear. The day to day performance is decent. The battery life is the best in class with 3150mah coming in handy to get though the whole day with some juice left. Overall a great device in the 10-13k segment. Worth a buy.
