I think Mi5 could have been a flagship killer. And this would have lead down the sale of many other flagships. But as soon as I got to know the scenario. It was heart breaking. Xiaomi company was known for its great hardware and reasonable price as compared to other big companies like sony , samsung , apple , etc. This is the Mi5 with 3gb ram for Rs. 24, 999 was just not worth. Nor this was a flagship killer. We already had 3gb ram smartphones in our market from quite a long time now. The 4gb ram variant was very important to be launched in India knowing the competition. And that should have been for 24, 999 and then I would have reviewed it the best and affordable flagship in my view. And another downside about this phone is there is no expandable memory. That is , there is no memory card slot. It comes with 32gb and thats all you got to work with. At this point of innovation and competition. This 32gb rom with no memory card slot is not good enough. So I really am not inclined towards this phone since knowing the above reasons.
