I was already a fan of Google’s Android one software owing to its near stock android experience and fluidity. But I was waiting for a phone with a hardware that justifies that experience. Xiaomi helped to get such a device. Though the hardware may seem to be average on paper, but for an Android one device, it is near perfect. I am already updated to the latest secuty patches and the device runs zippy fast. No issues on software front. Device heats up a bit while charging but not uncomfortably hot. It is well under limits during continuous gameplay and while using camera and VR.
Audio and camera are a plus for this device. Dual camera is above average and best for the price. Audio is very loud and has one of the vest audio outputs via a headfone or earphone, thanks to the dedicated DAC.
This is a clear winner in terms of price you pay and the amount of features you get. Go, get one!
