I am not a much fan of xiaomi tablets As I bought a Xiami device once A phone and I regretted very much.But after looking at this tablet at such an affordable price point I couldn’t resisit to buy it.And it turned out to be the very good decision as it turned out to be the best tablet I ever owned. From screen quality to battery performance and having everything was really good. And the reason why I am so impressed that I decided to write this review.
So here it is
: Display:
It is equipped with a 7.9 inch IPS LCD display with 1536X2048 resolution with 326ppi density. A really amazing display wow. I was so impressed. The text is crisp and the movie watching experience is really good. I really liked it. It looks like a bit like Apple device because the display is almost as good. The Ui is really good on top of Android 4.4.4 and upgradable. The Ui had no problems in performance and I did not experienced any lag. In all the display will really impress you I loved it.
: Built:
It is a 7.9 inch with gorilla glass 3 amazing protection and its a only wifi device. With storage of 16gb storage and that also is expandable which is really good.the back has 8mp camera and front with 5mp camera. At the back there are two mics one in top middle and one near camera. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic back which is also slippery and a customized back skin may make it look a bit pretty but overall a good solid device. I would not recommend handling it carelessly as such a huge device should be handled property but its still light for a 7.9 inch tablet.
: CAMERA:
NOW I will not say much about both cameras the front is 5mp to see which is good but not really good for great selfies. But it manage to do the job. The rear 8mp is a 1080p shooter and takes good photos but for a tablet its a pretty decent camera I must say.I took some really good photos from it.
: PERFORMANCE& GAMING:
The tablet is eqiipped witj NVIDIA TEGRA K1 2.2ghz quad core cortex A-15 with 2gb ram and ULP GeForce Kepler( 192 cores) which is the reason why it performs really well and lag free. I was able to play high end games on this device even at high settings and you know it is a treat to play games in such a big screen. I loved gaming experience but it tends to get a bit hot near the camera area so you rather play from different sides it won’t be a problem. But I noticed that it takes sometimes 2-3 seconds to exit the games but not a big issue. Rather than that it handles all other multi-tasking like a pro and you should not have any problem with it. Its really smooth.
: BATTERY:
Talking avout battery I was really impressed. I was able to use the tablet play games use Facebook YouTube and still had enough that I charge it once in 3 days. Its 6700 mah battery does a really amazing job. Really impressed for the battery. The battery is sealed in like all tablets and is a really efficient. You will not have any battery issues and is great for travel.
: Other features:
It supports USB OTG so you can also connect a dongle to connect it to Internet and exchange data. The speakers are decent nothing that much impressive about it. But still decent speakers.
A TIP: If you buy a white colour tablet or any color make sure not to use it with smudgy hands as I did once and the smudges were not removable and looked really ugly with yellow marks. So I suggest to buy a cover or a case.
