With an AnTuTu benchmark score of 85, 101, its performance score falls just shy of how Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Huawei Mate 8 did. That’s impressive, considering the Mi Pad 2 runs on an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor and 2GB of RAM.
Elsewhere inside of the tablet made by the Apple of China, the Mi Pad 2 is available in configurations of 16 GB and 64 GB of storage space. The tablet has a 7.9-inch display and puts our a pixel count of 1, 536 x 2, 048 — giving it a a pixel density of approximately 324 pixels per inch.
The 999 Yuan tablet, roughly$156 USD, is fueled by a 6, 190 mAh battery that will allegedly give it up to 12.5 hours of power, even when viewing video content on it. For graphics horsepower, the high-performance Mi Pad 2 will rely on an Intel HD GPU.
Its primary camera is 8MP and its selfie cam is 5MP. It includes a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. And it’ll be available in iPad-like colors of silver, gray and champagne gold.
Xiaomi hasn’t made clear if the Mi Pad 2 will be available in the west, but it’s latest flagship phone will be. Unveiled alongside the Mi Pad 2 and Air Purifier 2, the Redmi Note 3 was introduced to the world on Nov. 24 and will apparently be shipping soon.
Technically, the Redmi Note 3 isn’t available for purchase in the US. But several third-party retailers are taking preorders for the handset and are offering it for worldwide shipping.
It’s a mid-tier phone with a mid-range price, but it still packs the punch of a pack leader. The RedMi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch display that puts our a full HD resolution of 1, 920 x 1, 080, giving it a pixel density of 403 ppi.
The RedMi Note 3 comes in configurations of 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. The handset is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 .
