Tablet market in India was very cool and there were no good tablets you can go with. So Xiaomi luanched its first tablet in India which is the Xiaomi Mi Pad and it flowed like water in the online sales.
Display:
This tablet is having a 7.9 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1536* 2048 pixels which was very good according to the price in which this tablet was launched. But the screen didnt come out to be very good the colours on the screen was not accurate. 1 month after the launch of this tablet there were many tablets which gave better screen and performance so this tablet failed in the Indian market.
Performance:
This tablet is powered by a 2.2 GHZ quadcore processor which accompanied by 2 GB ram and you can run two or more apps at the same time very easily. But when it comes to gaming performance it handle good graphics game easily but cannot handle high graphic games easily like Modern Combat, Nova 3 etc.
OS:
This tablet is having Android 4.4 kitkat with Xiaomis MIUI on top of it which is very laggy MIUI is a very bad UI which makes phone slow and does give a good UI and features. As per the software update you will never get Android Lollipop on this device because likes kitkat so much that it will never let you taste Android Lollipop and later versions and one day Xiaomi will be in great loss because they dont give Android L update.
Camera:
This tablet comprises of a 8 MP rear camera without flash with does not have good exposure level and the colors are very dull and in light the the photo will be black. As per the front camera it is a 5 MP shooter which is average and it is not having a wide angle lens.
Reccomodation:
I would not reccomend this tablet to anyone because of many reasons. But the main reason is you will never get Android Lollipop update and there is MIUI at the top of android which makes this tablet laggy.
