Hi I bought Redmi 1S, it’s normal temp is 30 to 32 degree centigrade as Room Temperature, but after using of 5 to 10 continuous minutes while playing videos, browsing, gaming or even calling my phone went to 42 degree’s so I scared and given a little rest, I don’t know if used for more time how much temp it go.
I called customer care they said till 50 it’s okay, but just imagine in summer at 40 degree centigrade how we feel, imagine if you keep the phone at ears how do you feel, my ears just burnt. I even scared one day phone may blow up also, finally sold the phone for the same cost.
Except heating issue my phone is at best in playing games or good in android and all features, but health is more important that enjoyment, So take a wise decision before you are buying. Yes I know 6k is less amount but really scared for huge in heat.? I don’t consider it as value for money, value for money will be counted only if the phone doesn’t have any major draw backs,
This phone have a major draw back of heating some body posted in FB 1S group that his phone is also be used as a omlet maker at 45 degrees. it’s better you join in some groups and take feedback of people.
