Today I’ll be sharing my experience on Xiaomi Redmi 1S which I have used for about 2 months now.
Now this phone is not beautiful or a metal phone but its more of a functional phone for the masses with budget under 10000 rs. The only thing is don’t like on this phone is the fact that it misses home button and capacitative buttons in red color without led light, so its tough for 1st time users but it doesn’t make a difference once you use the phone for a couple of days.
It has 4.7 inch screen, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, and 2000mah battery which constitutes a good phone for normal use. I like the fact that it can all types of movies upto 1080p resolution. Plus it has micro sd card slot, so extra memory helps. Camera is 8/2 mp for back n front so it takes above average pictures and videos.
In my 2 months experience I didn’t face lag or stutter. It gives me battery life of about just under a day and runs all apps except high end games which is cool by me.
The MIUI is smooth and easy to operate for a 1st time android user like me. It used to get a bit hot when used for long time when I bought it but now that I installed the MIUI upgrade, it doesn’t get hot now.
A good experience for me and you can’t expect Samsung note performance in 6000. So I would recommend it, but buy the newly launched Redmi 2S which sells for Rs. 7000.
