I purchase Redmi 2 Prime 16 GB(Grey) mobile phone in November, 2015 through Amazon, considering its specification and price on advice of my younger brother. I paid Rs. 6499/- on festive sale and got additional cash back of 15%(Rs. 1000/-) on payment through HDFC Debit Card. So, I am in position to review this item after use of about six months.
It comes with 4.7 inch screen size, 1.2 GHz speed with quad core processor on Qualcomm & Snapdragon brand and 16 GB internal memory. It operates on android OS. This provides very good processing speed and great internal storage space. It has LCD capacitive full HD touch screen with micro Sd memory card, dual micro SIM slot with all modern call functions and requirement. It has 2 MP front and 8 GB rear with LED flash camera, which gives very clear and colour contrast selfie, photos and videos. Gaming on this is also mazing.
Battery backup is quite satisfactory with 2200 mAh Li-polymer battery. This gives power more than 250 hours at standby and more than 10 hours talktime. When I charged it in morning, it works till full office day. It has pre-loaded google apps, which is very useful and an additional benefit.
I can never expect such a nice mobile on such an economical price at the present. It is light and strong built. I am fully satisfied with the functioning and numerous qualities of this Redmi 2 Prime at such genuine price.
