Now xiaomi needs no introduction as they have crafted their image as budget value for money phone and Redmi 2 Prime is another such model that will amaze you.
They are good in some parts but not upto the mark of certain points.
Pros-
The specs that they offer at 7k is great with 1.2 ghz that too a snapdragon 410 chipset.
2 gb ram is great as at this price range you wont get it any phone and you wont find any lags while using even good games like asphalt and runs smooth.
It gives 16 gb internal storage and also have sd card slot and even after all apps and stuff you get atleast 12 gb space free for use.
The MiUI is cool and easy to use, specially the customization options.
Fast charging as battery charges quickly for the 25% to 30%.
Dual sim is a add on and both supports 4g which is good.
The 4.7" screen is good for one hand use and pretty comfortable to carry.
Supports Otg and 5gb Mi cloud storage.
Cons-
In open light the cam works superb capturing quality pics but in low light it dont give much desired quality pics.
Camera is bit projected out, so you cant keep phone on back without any cover.
Faced issue while transferring data using sharing apps like shareit, xender etc may be they will solve this issue soon.
Phone heats up within 10 minutes on heavy usage, still can use just warms up a bit.
Battery is 2200 mA which is bit difficult to use phone one whole day on heavy usage.
It still runs on kitkat which is a sad part.
Overall it is a decent phone who are looking for a budget phone but if you can add 3k to it then better go for K3 note!
