Today I am sharing my two year hands on experience over REDMI 2 PRIME. I bought it in July’2015.
I used it very ruggedly. Its Screen gets broken when I met an accident.
It is a 4G Phone with good specifications at a Low Budget.
Its Pros & Cons are as follows:
It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 410(msm-8916) of 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, with GPU of Adreno-306.
It has a Screen of 4.7" with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It has a pixel density of 315.48 PPI. No gorilla glass protection is over there. you have to use a screen guard.
It works with 2_GB Ram on ANDROID 5.1.1 Lollipop Platform, out of which available free RAM is 1.2 GB.
It has an Internal Storage of 16 GB, out of which you will got 12 GB Free. It Supports a memory card up to 32 GB.
It has a Back Camera of 8 MP(3264x2448), by which you can capture a video of size 1920x1080.
It has a Front Camera of 2 MP(1600x1200), which gaves you a good selfie.
It has a very good Build Quality, very robust. Easy to fit in palm, single handed operated.
Its battery is of 2200 mah, which is not enough as per today’s requirements and updates. Using over 2 Years now its backup becomes very Low.
It Supports VOLTE as it is a 4G Phone.
It has 11 types of Sensors Like Proximity, gyroscope, Accelerometer, Gravity Sensor.
It has other useful features like WIFI, WIFI Direct, Bluetooth, GPS enabled, Camera Flash, USB Accessory.
Its sound quality is also very clear and noise free over using headphones.
Overall the phone is very good for a normal user. you can also play games on it but becomes hot.
As you will update it, it will gives you more features like Second Space for creating dual account apps like whats-app, Facebook etc.
It is a valued phone with a price tag of INR 7000. This phone is only for normal users, NOT FOR HEAVY USERS.
