I’m using this phone for atleast 3 months and I’m giving a unboased review. The phone really comes with those key requirements that a user really needs in a very affirdable price. Rather than some phones it is a very good smart phone woth 4G connectivity.
PROS:
( 1) very compact design with 4.7 inch display which very easy to hold when doing calls or other tasks
( 2) Very crisp display with 1280* 720p resolution with 312 ppi.
( 3) Sound quality in headphones as well as speakers is very good because of its preinstalled sound enhancer settings and Snapdragon audio+ which comes with all 2nd gen snapdragon SoC enabled chip.If you buy MI In the ear basic or standatd headphones you will experience more realistic sound.
( 4) Good signal quality with 2G, 3G & 4G connections.
( 5) Good User interface with smart RAM management.
( 6) Good 8MP rear camera but not up to the mark, front 2MP camera is more tuned in MIUI 7.0.9( for that u hav to update your phone.
( 7) Good 2200 mAh battery which gives sufficient backup( more tuned in MIUI 7) .
( 8) Qualcomm 410 chipset with MSM8916 processor is perfect for everyday use.
( 9) It has FM radio also and user can apply his/her favorite themes.( Which Meizu M2 does not offer)
CONS:
( 1) Adreno 306 GPU is not so powerful and it can’t run heavy games. It is made for casual and mid heavy games( Temple run, Modern Combat)
( 2) If you use phone’s speaker at full volume to heat music it might get distored and damaged.so I advice hear musics at medium volume or use earphones.
( 3) Phone heats up slighty with heavy usage in 4G connectivity and battery drains faster. So my recommendation though it is a 4G handset but is petfect with 3G and 2G
( 4) Don’t buy the white variant because the matte backcover may get dirty in time.
( 4) MIUI still runs with Android Kitkat 4.4.4 though you will not any performance difference will Lolipop enabled phones because of its highly optimised MIUI and many good features preinatalled.
( 5) Do not support gestures and double tap to wake up, so the power button may get deffected.
And thats all, if u can live with these features it is a great phone for you
