I think the phone’s hardware is not enough for handling the latest android software and mid to heavy games. The phone’s camera is average and the low light performance is bad. It still runs android kit kat on the miui 6 which is very large even in casual usage. The only thing good in this phone is the screen quality and the cellular call reception quality.
Also the speaker sound poor at high volumes. And since the phone has just 1GB Ram It is not good at multitasking and app load times. I would suggest spending 1K more and get the prime version which is slightly better in terms of performance.
