Xiaomi is trying to repeat their success they had in redmi note 4. Smartphone that will apeal with a liking smaller display. The 64 GB varient costs around 11, 000 in india, bt its 2017 and the current mid budget smartphones market is too much competitive. The redmi 4 will be competing with lenovo k6 power and moto g4 play. We can see some great features in this package. One more thing I wanted to tell you guyz that I amwriting this review in my own opinion and knowledge without using it, so this was my personal review. So lets get started.
1) BUILD AND DESIGN?? the redmi note 4 comes with an same design like the redmi note 4.the metal finish ads solidity and the flat edges improve grip quality. The device available in black and gold colour, it weighs just 150gm which is enough for a bigger battery. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back with a lay of the camera. This is the best looking budget phone I have looked recently. I would like to give 9/10 in terms of build and design.
2) DISPLAY?? rhe device comes with an 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1080×720. Although this is not a FULL HD display it doesnt feel dull or inferior. It is a brifmght display with a good colour contrast. Also you can change the saturation of the display in the settings menu. As expected xiaomi didnt tell us about the display protection so its easily gets scratched. It is like end up with a few marks in no time. But still considering the price this is a great deal for us. 8/10 in terms of display.
3) CAMERA AND BATTERY?? The smartphone equipped with an 13MP rear camera which delivers clear shots in outdoor mode withoutt over saturating the display which some devices tend to do. But the old problem its struggles in low light situation. It cant catch much details in the low light situation. As the result the picture comes blurry, washed and lit. The camera offers some live filters and many features like beayty, straighten, Panorama, audio in photos etc. the front 5MP camera works fine in almost every situation, but its also lags in low light situation.the picture quality was so poor as expected but xiaomi should do better in terms of camera quality. Again 8/10 in terms of camera. But when it comes to battery its doesnt let us to surprise. The phone packs with an 4, 100 mah massive battery. Which easily provide us 12-13 hours on time in normal usage. It doesnt matter that you are a heavy or normal user it will complete all your expectations. With a heavy using like connected to the internate, browsing, audio, high end gaming and video palying the screen time will be 7.5-8 hours normally. 8/10 in terms of battery from me.
4) PERFORMANCE?? the redmi 4 powered by qualcom 1.4 ghz snapdragon 435 octacore processor. Which is definitely better than the 1.2 ghz snapdragon 430 processor in k6 power. It has a higher clock speed to tun heavy tasks smoothly without lag. it comes with an 4GB of ram and 64 gb of internal storage. For that reason there will be no problem for heavy games and multi tasking. The snapdragon 435 not as same as the 625 but it doesnot lag but honestly it has a slight heating issue. Again 8/10 in terms of performance.
5) VALUE FOR MONEY?? xiaomi almost done everything fine with its new smartphone.its biggest rivals are the k6 power it has a clear display, bigger battery like the redmi 4 and the moto g4 play which has a clutter free android experience. With the premium design and batterylife its completely fine to go with redmi 4. Thank you,
