Xiaomi is developing the market in India and after the success of Xiaomi note 4, company has launched Xiaomi Redmi 4 in Indian market. Xiaomi Redmi 4 is available in three variants - 2 GB, 16 GB; 3 GB, 32 GB; 4 GB, 64 GB. This also comes with 4100 mah battery which provide it great performance. So at the price of below 10000 rupees, it is the good option to purchase and specially the variants of 2 GB and 3 GB RAM.
In-spite of all such features, it does not mean that this is the best purchase offer in the market. It is also have cons and we will discuss all the minor problems and cons which you can face after purchasing Xiaomi Redmi 4.
The very first negative point in this phone is that you will not find the adequate screen protection as there is not availability of gorilla glass. So this can lead to the display prone to scratches. Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with 2.5 D Glass having curved display which adds the beauty to this device and adds the beauty. But you will find some scratches on the screen just after the 2 week of usage if you will not use some kind of screen guard for protection of screen.
This device works on Android 6.0 MIUI version which is an outdated software, so it is not coming with the latest updated version of android. Xiaomi has promissed to updated this upto Android 7.0 but it can might take couple of months to update it.
Next negative point is Hybrid sim. No dedicated SD card slot. It means that you can use two sim cards at a time or one sim card with one SD card. So as now a days Jio is providing good offers for data usage, so if you want to use both the sim cards then you will face problem when you are willing to expand the memory of your phone. So the solution for this problem is that I will suggest you to purchase the variant having high internal storage, otherwise you will face the problem with then memory or with the sim.
Other negative point is regarding the charging. As we know that Xiaomi Redmi 4 has 4100 mah battery which is maximum in such a range but in-spite of that charging speed is not good. As we consider the timing of charging, so it took 3-4 hours to fully charge. So you cant be able to quickly charge the device as if in case you dont have much time to charge the device.
As we consider the style then it is good as it is curved shaped. Rest depend upon personal liking.
If we consider it as a value for money then it is not bad device but before purchasing this you have to think about the customer service because this is very important aspect.
