Today I am going to share my review on Xiaomi Redmi 4A. So let’s a start.
Design and Materials - It has a premium look and sleek design. 90% of the back is made up of high-quality Aluminium and the rest portion(back top and bottom) is made up of smooth plastic. Overall the design is awesome.
Look and Feel - The phone comes in three color variants - Dark grey, Rose Gold and Gold. It is good looking phone and is more slimmer than other phone at this price range. When I hold the phone in my hand for the first time, that was an amazing feeling. It was a dual feeling and I felt like I am holding a butter bar with great grip. I mean that the back is as smooth as butter but it has great grip and doesn’t slip. Overall I feel great when the phone is in my hand.
Camera - This phone’s camera performs beyond my expectation. There are many options, features and modes and they all are working properly. The phone has a very good camera sensor which helps in taking crystal clear quality picture in day or night. The camera has an aperture of f/2.0 . The phone comes with a 13mp rear and 5mp front camera which helps to take good photos in any environment. The camera has many features like - Auto focus, Background blur, Black and white, etc.
If you want to take a video with this phone, then you will get a good resolution(1280p X 720p). It also comes with many video shooting modes like Slow motion mode. Overall the camera is of good quality and competes with other phones in this price range.
Sound:- The sound quality of this phone is average. The speaker has been placed under the phone. It is a problem to call with this phone because of its average sound quality.
Storage and Speed:- Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB external memory. In a phone at this price range, 2GB ram is enough. I have played all high graphics game in this phone without any problem. I have also tested the phone with about 15 apps at a time, and then also the phone doesnot slowdown. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, which is one of the best budget processors. I didn’t get any slowdown and I hope that you also don’t get any slowdown issue.
Battery - This phone has 3120 mAh battery which is enough for 13 hours of regular usage or 8 hours of heavy usage or 17 hours of low usage. It takes 2 hours for a fully drained out battery to get fully charged. It gives us an amazing battery life.
Display:- The phone has a 5 inch HD display. It has an adaptive brightness option which uses the Ambient light Sensor which adjusts the screen’s brightness acoording to the brightness of the surrounding.
UI(User Interface):- The Xiaomi UI is my favourite. This phone has the same UI as for other Xiaomi phones. It has MIUI 8.2 which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Overall this phone is very good. But the best phone in this price range is the Lyf Wind 4S. I am myself using both the phones. The cons of Xiaomi Redmi 4A over Lyf Wind 4S are:

So you can go and check out the Lyf Wind 4S. However, if you can’t trust a new company, need IR blaster, or want a newer Android, then you can take the Xiaomi Redmi 4A.
