Hiii guyz, We all know that xiaomi is the most popular and preferred brand in india.recently they lauch their cheapest entry level smartphone_ XIAOMI REDMI 4A. Its nearly costs around 5, 999 rupees. Will this be the best in this segment? Before starting I wanted to tell you guyz that I am writing this review after using this device about 2 months.so here I have writen my honest opinion about this device. So lets get started. First start with, 1) BUILD QUALITY? xiaomi redmi 4A is entry level smartphone which comes with an polycarbonate finish. When you take the phone in your hand it will feel metalic.it weighs near of 131 grams so it quite lite and feel slim in hands.
The volume rocker power key is in the right side of the phone and the sim tray is in the left side its all gave good feedback.which is quite good in this segment. I would like to give 7.5 /10 in terms of build quality.
2) SOUND RECEPTION ? when it comes to aound quality this devics lacks much.i have heard the audio quality of this month which is quite decent. Speakers in the back still its better compare to other devices in this segment.the mic on the top for noice cancellation works fine as metioned. I would like to give 7/10 in terms of audio quality.
3) DISPLAY AND BATTERY? xiaomi redmi 4A comes with an 5 inch IPS-LCD hd display.the resolution is 1280×720. The viewing angle and colour reproduction is quite good it doesn’t lack while playing game or videos. The brightness and sharpness is pretty decent which is good in this range of smartphones. I would like to give 8.5/10 in terms of display.
It comes with an 3, 120mah battery which is superb to be said and it provides minimum 9 hour of battery life with heavy usage. 4) CAMERA AND OTHER FEATURES? this device comes with an 13MP back camera with f 2.2 aperture and a 5MP feont facing camera with f 2.2 aperture. The picture sharpness is not as good as expected from a 13MP shooter. But still the ISO, auto brightness, HDR mode and the same camera interface makes it interesting.the low photos are decent and it will be a good choice for selfie lovers in low budget.one more thing its comes with time lapse which is unexpected is this segment
I would like to give 8/10 in terms of camera. And some other features like its comes with android 6.0 ( marshmallow) with MIUI 8.0 it has some additional features over the MIUI 7.one more thing it comes with an IR blaster in the top which is quite good.
5) USER FRIENDLY? This is an entry level smartphone.it doesn’t lag while completing daily tasks.the snapdragon 425 with soc paired with 2 GB ram complete all the things you need.but sometimes the software glitches are noticeable. There is a lage while switching between apps and heavy games. gaming is fine with short games dont try to run games like asphalt 8, mortal combat it needs more storage. But the device doesn’t heat much just because of the software management. At the very end of my review if you are a normal user with low budget who can manage with decent camera and a good battery life this is the real deal for you just go for it. Thank you,
