Xiaomis tendency of inceeasing there phones price after 1 lakh or so sell is disgusting they simply losing market slowly for this they just cant increase the price of phones like redmi 6a or redmi 6. Today not only MI but Asus given sd 660 at 13k Nokia gives p60 at 11k initially 10.5 k so this device coming from MI at 8k initially was ok at its price range but after 8.5k it is not worthy simply of that extra 500 bucks . Lets discuss with the after use of 2 months whats the pros and cons of the device
pros
=
dual camera simply superb in this category actually technically same camera as redmi y2 and redmi note 5 pro same sensors same lens dont know about xiaomi but this is really surprising
design: apart from mi typical design in 8k this design is really good
screen size
fingerprint sensor and face unlock and its face unlock is faster than my other device redmi y2
updates
Cons
1 processor: helio p22 is then main drawback though in this range it may not be that bad at start but now again 11k you get helio p60 at 13k you get sd660 so never though of buying this phone after dec 2018
battery: mediatek helio p22 is avg but in terms of battery it is not good clearly
GPU: mediateks gpu is no match for sds adreno we all know it you can play PUBG but it will get slow and laggy timely
hitting: playing pubg the phone ges heated slowly
charging: with dual camera dual volte and all that comes with a 5w charger yes forget type c in this range from MI they should have given at least a 10 w charger but no
sound: comparing to other devices in this price even MIs own devices sound is clearly low in redmi 6
Recommendation: It is a average phone with good rear camera under 8k but simply not worthy of that extra 500 bucks and now a days in dec 2018 dont even think of buying it .
