I am writing this review after extensive use of this phone for 2 weeks
= Features which are exceptional=
• Finger print sensor is accurate and timely responsive. Placing of the sensor at back gives user flexible for easy unlock. This can also be used to take selfie pictures.
• It has a very huge battery capacity. It can easy stay up to 1 day with extensive usage.
• Processor can handle multitasking, games with ease.
Phone Build quality and design are good.
• I liked MIUI but the UI can be replaced by other launchers.
• No heating issues observed
• Speaker and Headphone quality is. good.
• IR blaster is additional feature and can also be used with 3rd party apps.
= Features which are not exceptional=
• Hybrid sim slot is present which means it can be used either as sim slot or external memory slot.
•. Camera quality is not great during low light conditions.
• Protection is provided for screen but Xiaomi has not confirmed anything.
With the MIUI update Camera performance during low light might be improved.
Overall it is a very good phone in the mid price segment.
