I have been using it nearly for a month now. I can say that this phone is the best smart phone I have ever used ( Earlier I used Samsung Galaxy S4 for 3 long years) . I will now list some of the pros and cons noticeable by a common user. This value-for-money phone is superior in terms of
Battery backup: It gives 4 to 5 times the backup as given by Samsung Galaxy S4, which always shuts-down due to low battery when the use of internet is more than for 1 hour. This is the fantastic feature of this phone, which has 4050 mAh battery.
Bigger screen: All the colors are quite vibrant with the 5.5 Full HD screen.
Light weight: Though it has massive battery, the weight is quite lesser than most of the phones of same physical size.
Dual sim: This gives the flexibility of using two networks at the same time ( Reliance-Jio users find it awesome) .
This phone has got updated with the MIUI 8 automatically ( Initially it has MIUI 7) . However, it has following drawbacks:
Non-identification of network: The phone usually identifies the networks quite well. However, if it accidentally misses any of the two networks, it cannot automatically connect to the network, when the network got restored. This is a serious negative point.
Only slot for Sim#2 and Micro SD card: This is another drawback. We can either keep a sim card or a Micro SD card, but not both in sim card slot#2.
Need of keeping the 4G sim in the slot#1: When I tried to keep my Jio sim in the slot#2, I could not make the calls. Had to swap the sim cards.
Camera: Though the 16 MP camera has very good performance in day time, the night time performance is not up to the mark.
Non removable battery: The battery can’t be removed. We should assume that the battery lives till the end.
No ear phones: The product does not come with ear phones.
