Not a good phone

I had lots of confidence in the MI brand but I am losing it because of the pathetic after sales experience I am having. I have ordered Redmi Note 3


This is the 5th Xiaomi phone I have ordered and was much excited about it. But after I opened the package I was disappointed to see a crack on the phone screen. I tried looking for the return option in the MI store app but couldn’t find it. The next day I found an email id of the customer care and told them about the problem. They replied the next day and asked me to share the pic of the phone which I did. Next day I observed that the dimension of the crack has increased and immediately shared the pic and have mentioned in my email that I am getting concerned about the phone and something has to be done on priority I received a call and they asked me to share the front and back pic of the phone box and the packet in which it was delivered. They mentioned that I will get some resolution within 72 hours. After 72 hours, I called up the customer care again and they told me that by EOD I will get a call or an email and my phone will be replaced for sure. I received an email again to share the pics. I called up the customer care and they confirmed that they have received the pics. I don’t know why the email team didn’t receive the pics. I am getting a feeling that MI India wants to frustrate the customer so that they stop following them. Till date this issue is pending. I have never expected this kind of a cold response from your company.
