Just like the predecessor note 3, the note 4 is another impressive phone produced by xiaomi which got hit very quickly due to its imassive battery and specifications. In india it cost for about 12k and in Pakistan it cost for about 20k for 3gb ram model and 25k for 4gb ram model.
the xioami redmi note 4 has 2 varients which are:
1) Mediatek model(10 core Helio x20 clocked at 2.1 GHz with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU)
2) Snapdragon model(8 core Snapdragon 625 with cortex A53 clocked at 2.0 GHz and adreno 506 GPU)
The one which I reviewed is the snapdragon version and I found snapdragon 625 very power efficient and long lasting so before giving review I would like to share its specs as follows:
A 5.5 inch 1080p IPS screen(401 PPi)
2.5D glass in the front and Aluminum Body from the back
Android Marshmellow(MIUI 8.5) but later I updated to nougat(MIUI 9.0)
8 core Snapdragon 625 with cortex A53 clocked at 2.0 GHz and adreno 506 GPU
3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB ROM
Primary camera of 13 MP(f/2.0, 1.12 µm) with dual tone LED flash which can record videos at 1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps and secondary 5 MP, f/2.0, 1080p
WLAN:Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n
Bluetooth:4.1
microUSB 2.0, USB On-The-Go
Fingerprint, accele_45rometer, gyro, proximity, compass
And a non-removable Li-Po 4100 mAh battery
The things which I loved:
looking at the note 3, the note 4 has a 2.5D glass on the front and aluminum chamfer body which looks alot more. premium than note 3 which I personally loved more.
the new bottom speaker works way better then the back speaker on note 3.
Battery mAnasultangement is alot better on this one.
The things which I didnt love:
xiaomi degraded the processor from snapdragon 650 to snapdragon 625 which is something I didnt understand but as its battery efficient its totally reasonable.
Camera is on the average side and doesnt out perform that much like oppo or vivo.
Benchmarks:
upon using antutu benckmarks it gave a solid 62k score which is a very brilliant score for a budget phone.
Final words:
I personally think that Xiaomi Note 4 is all in all a great device with some amazing features and I would totally recommend it to everyone.
