Smart SMSIt will be hard to find a particular message in your SMS inbox, especially when you get lots of promotional messages from banks, telecom operators, e-commerce deals, and much more. To solve this issue, the MIUI 7 features a smart SMS filter, which manages to filter the promotional messages in a separate folder to make things easier. To activate go to Settings > System Apps > Messaging and enable Notifications Group.
2Built-in call recorderThere are many call recorder apps on Android app store, but the MIUI 7 comes with built-in call recorder, which can automatically record the incoming and outgoing calls. So you don’t need to download any third party call recorder. While on call you’ll get an icon to record a call, just tap to record the conversation.
3XXL text fontThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 3’s MIUI comes with a XXL text mode. To activated got to Settings > Text Size and choose the size of what you want.
4One-handed modeThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports 5.5-inch display but fits comfortable in your hand. But, if you find the Redmi Note 3 big enough to use with one hand, then activate the one-handed mode. To activate go to Settings > Additional Settings > One-handed mode.
5Customize quick panelThe notification panel features many shortcuts such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, data on/off, Screen rotation, and much more. You can arrange these quick settings icon as your preference. To activate go to Settings > Notification > Toggle Positions and drag the icons as your convenience.
6Built-in app lockMIUI 7 in Redmi Note 3 comes with built-in app lock. User can go to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy Protection > Lock Individual Apps > and follow on screen instruction. Once you set the security pattern select Choose apps to lock to secure apps.
7Setting Up Fingerprint ScannerAs mentioned above, the Redmi Note 3 is the company’s first smartphone to be equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It is placed just below the camera unit on the back of the device. Setting it up is hassle-free and is quick to recognize which finger has been used and unlocks the device in under half a second. Go to Settings > Lock Screen & Fingerprint Reader > Password and Fingerprint > Add Fingerprint and follow the on screen instructions. There are number of useful fingerprint sensor features incorporated into MIUI 7, including the ability to lock apps, access hidden folders, and even take a front or rear camera selfie using just your fingerprint. 8Guest ModeXiaomi makes the Redmi Note 3 even more secure with its Guest Mode features, that hide all your personal data. To activate the Guest Mode, go to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Privacy Protection and than tap of Guest Mode.
9Baby AlbumThe MIUI 7 features a Baby album feature that automatically detect all baby photos in your gallery and assemble them together.
10Reading modeThe new Redmi Note 3 comes with reading mode, that turns the display in a yellow hue for night time to help a user. To activate: Settings> Display> Reading Mode.
